Reservations and Applications

Tofte Lake Center offers week-long creative residencies and retreats for artists, groups, organizations and others looking to spend time away from daily life to focus on a project, a collaboration, an idea, and more. To apply for a residency week, please fill out a Residency Application. To make a reservation for master classes or workshops, contact the facilitator or email Tofte Lake Center at: info@toftelake.com.

Once residency dates are agreed upon, please mail your deposit to guarantee your space to:

Check-in/Check-out Time: Check-in time is Monday after 2pm.  Check-out time is Sunday by noon. Please drive up to the Treehouse to check in with TLC Director Liz Engelman.

Deposits/Payments: Half of the total balance must be received the day a reservation has been made along with your signed contract. The final payment must be received 30 days before your arrival.

Cancellation Policy: If you have a confirmed reservation and payment has been received you must immediately notify TLC if for some reason you cannot honor your obligation to occupy the property. It is required that all reservation cancellations be received in writing. TLC will make every possible effort to re-rent the property, however, if we cannot re-rent the property there will be no refund issued. If TLC is able to re-rent the property at full seasonal rates, you will receive a refund less $100 cancellation fee and $25 registration fee, which is non-refundable.

Tofte Lake Center is a family-friendly creative retreat center. Artists in residence are welcome to bring their families when space allows and when agreed upon in advance.

Pets are allowed on a case-by-case basis. An additional $25 cleaning fee is requested.
